Thanks fellas, for the positive reviews & feels. I’m kinda sold on this show, now & i’m downloading it. Would have done sometime. Just can’t stand Hilary Wank, though – but fuck it anyway. Can’t beat a sweet Sci-Fi show now & again & this could be a goodun judging by the positive vibes 👊✊
This was so good. A very relaxing, enjoyable and satisfying watch with likeable characters for the casual space fan. Hilary Swank alone makes it worth a watch. Talitha Bateman is cute and really good too.

Right now i am only at episode 2 so not sure if they fixes this later on, but for now my biggest issue with this show is how they are handling long distance communication from moon.
they are completely ignoring the time delay introduced due to time taken by signal to go over such long distances. they are live video chatting from moon even though technically it should take minimum 2 sec for any message to go from one end to another

It’s an entertainment SHOW.
Mate, if they showed that delay it would be terrible TV, it would annoy 99% of viewers (yes, you are the 1%) and it would be a waste of screen time.
For moon its not a big issue its only 2 sec delay but on mars this delay would be around 14 minutes.
The martian (2015) had addressed this and handled it very well.
In fact most movies and tv series handle this pretty well.

Thanks – I really enjoyed this. Maybe not everyone is a space/science nerd like me, so if you need fast-paced sci-fi, you might find it slow going, even boring. But if you’re after a realistic thoughtful look at the dangers of going to Mars – and plenty does go wrong along the way – you should dig this, as there’s more than enough suspense. Soon, this won’t even be considered sci-fi.
Couldn’t agree with you more brother, this show was fucking epic. I started watching in the early evening and couldn’t stop until it finished at 5 in the morning, and I wasn’t bored for a moment.

So far I watched S01E01, really expecting something really good – well, maybe I’ll find it more immersing in later eps – as I was rather bored watching first ep (despite Sci-Fi is my fav genre), sorry maybe that’s just me.
2nd ep (IMHO) quite better, more suspense and action, still serious dose of melodrama, brooding and maybe even soap – I guess it’s individual taste.
