Watch the TRAILER before you give this a try. This was written for a completely different audience than the original National Treasure movies.
I forced myself through the first two episodes to give it a shot, but boy, it's a pure Disney made-for-teenagers show. 5 minutes of plot for every 35 minutes of teenage-dating-angst.
If you enjoyed the original movies, this is not for you.
Yes this is pro female and for teenagers but at least there's no gay scenes.

My thoughts exactly. That would've been enough to already make me very wary of it, but the poster alone was enough for me to have zero interest in this. And a quick look at reviews shows my instincts were exactly right.
I'm with you. A poster of super hot people never drags me in…especially in the context of archeology/anthropology….

having 10/10 models as actors just destroys my suspension of disbelief.
I love this genre, so despite low review scores, I thought, how bad can it be? So I downloaded the first one.. Bad. It can be very bad. Review scores have it right.
From the poster I can clearly deduce they wanted a female latin lead. There is no way they would put Nic Cage there and there is no way Nic Cage would accept to be a support.
